Fixing caching issues

Occasionally, our updates may leave an older version in the cache. Here’s how to fix this.

We regularly deploy bug fixes, minor improvements and updates to the system. As customers, you generally won’t notice these changes.

Occasionally, updates may not take effect immediately on your device. This is usually due to the cache still storing an older version, even though the system itself has already been updated. In most cases, simply reloading the page is enough to ensure you’re using the latest version.

If that doesn’t work, a “hard refresh” may help. It forces the browser to load the latest version of the system. The keyboard shortcut for a hard refresh varies depending on your browser and operating system:

Windows/Linux

Edge/Chrome:
STRG + F

Firefox:
STRG+Shift+R

Mac OS

Safari:
Option+Cmd+R

Chrome/Firefox:
Cmd+Shift+R

Mobile browsers

iOS: Home screen - Settings - Safari settings - Advanced - Website Data - Remove All Website Data
Chrome for iOS/Android: Chrome app - Menu - Delete browsing data - Tick “Browsing history” / “Cookies and site data” / “Cached images and files” - All time - Delete browsing data
