Places

Define your Event Places centrally so you don’t have to re-enter the information for every Task. For each Place, you can specify the address or even add a link (e.g., to a map).

It’s also very practical that you can store one or more email addresses for each Place. Task emails will then be sent to these addresses. For example, you can automatically remind a school caretaker that you have an upcoming Event at their location. Additionally, the caretaker will receive a list of the responsible Helpers and their contact details.

Why does VOLAGIC need Places?

Places can be optionally specified in VOLAGIC for an Event or Shift. Your Helpers will then know exactly where they need to carry out their Task. Ideally, you can also provide a link with more information about the Place, such as a map link.

Who receives information about the Place?

All Helpers who sign up for a Task receive the Place information along with the Job details. If a contact email is stored for a Place, that address will be sent information about an upcoming Event.

Where are Places displayed?

Places are always shown in the Event details, Shift details, or Task details. The Place information is also included in the Task confirmation. This way, Helpers always know where they need to go.
