Organization

First, we recommend checking the settings under Organization. These settings are important so you can make the most of all the features in HELFEREINSATZ! It’s worth taking a closer look at the configuration.

The settings under Organization are divided into five groups:

Organization and Profile

You manage the general organizational settings (organization name, address, etc.) in APPAGIC. Under Profile, you can upload rules for participation, and with an Expert subscription, you can also define your logo and organizational color. You can find a detailed blog article about APPAGIC here:

Helper Data

With HELFEREINSATZ, you can make individual adjustments in the data privacy area: whether new registrations are allowed, which data is collected from your Helpers, whether they can edit their own data, and whether your Helper portal should be password-protected.

Events and Tasks

Here, you can customize the Events and Tasks for your organization. How do you want to measure the quantity of Tasks? What is the penalty for no-shows? Can Tasks be returned? You can find these and other setting options here.

More information on how Helper qualities can be measured in the blog article "Measuring Helper Tasks"

Helper Communication

This group focuses on communication with your Helpers. You can customize the introductory text in the portal, determine if and when a reminder email is sent, and adjust the introductory texts of the emails.

Access

Under "Access," you can determine who has access to the administration of your Helper portal. You can create as many access accounts as needed. For each access account, you can define whether the holder should be notified via email about new registrations, Task assignments, and Task returns. Additionally, you can specify whether each access account has administrative rights. Only accounts with these rights can make changes in the administration. All others can only view the information.

With the Expert subscription, you can also create access accounts for specific areas.

Integration

Here, you’ll learn how to embed your Helper portal on your own website. This can be done easily via an iframe or more flexibly using JSON or JSONP (terms familiar to web developers).
