For Helpers

VOLAGIC is funded through subscription fees. We do not sell data. VOLAGIC is a tool that allows our customers (associations, event organisers, and other organisations) to collect and process personal data. It is the responsibility of our customers to manage this data confidentially and carefully.

Helper Data

In addition to name, email, and phone number, our customers can collect further data from Helpers. We assume our customers only request information necessary for organising their Events. If you disagree with the information being requested, please contact our customers directly.

Sharing with Third Parties

Today, there are virtually no applications created and operated entirely by a single company. We rely on various subcontractors—for example, for hosting our application or sending emails. If we want to send you an email via a third-party service, we must share your email address with that provider. There’s no way around this. As a result, other companies may also need access to some of your data. We work exclusively with companies that comply with Swiss and European data protection laws. Newsletter

We communicate with our customers via our newsletter. Every user of the administration is automatically added to the recipient list. Each recipient can unsubscribe independently using the unsubscribe link. Please note that unsubscribing from the newsletter may mean you no longer receive important information about our services.

Your Data Protection Obligations

VOLAGIC allows the processing of personal data, which is protected by data protection laws. It is crucial that personal data is protected as effectively as possible. We require our customers to adhere to and implement the following rules:

• Restrict data access exclusively to individuals who need it—do not grant administrator rights to every user!
• Ensure that data exports are transported (email is not suitable for sending sensitive data) and stored securely.
• Ensure you have obtained all necessary consents from individuals before importing their personal data into our systems.
• Data subjects have various rights. Ensure that any such requests are handled legally and correctly by you and your organisation.
• Inform all users that personal data is protected and how it can be processed securely.
