Multi-day Events
From the Pro subscription onwards, you can also plan multi-day Events.
Creating a multi-day Event
To create a multi-day Event, you need to create an Event with Shifts. The Shift dates are what matter here. You can create Shifts on different dates, making the Event as a whole a multi-day Event. The creation process is exactly the same as for Events with Shifts.
Possible uses
Multi-day Events can be used in various ways. Some examples:
- Setting up an Event over several days
- Maintenance services that take place one day a week over several weeks/months
- ...
The options for structuring your activities using Events, Shifts and Tasks (Expert subscriptions: additionally using Sections) already allow you to keep everything very well organised. Multi-day Events give you even more flexibility to improve this structure and group related Shifts/Tasks together.
However, it is rarely useful to plan your entire event as a single multi-day Event. This results in a long list of Shifts, making it difficult to maintain a clear overview at the first structural level, both in the Helper section and in the administration area. We therefore recommend using multi-day Events when they genuinely help to keep things clear and organised.
