Duplicate Helpers

Under "Duplicate Helpers", you can find potential duplicates and merge them.

If potential duplicates exist, they are displayed in two groups:

  • Helpers with the same name
  • Helpers with the same email address

For Helpers with the same name, there is a good chance that they are duplicates. This can happen if someone registers again using a different email address or if there is a spelling mistake in the email address. As soon as the system detects a potential duplicate, the affected Helpers are listed here. You then have the following options:

  • Helper details – View the person’s details more closely
  • Edit Helper – If you already know what the error is, you can correct it directly from here
  • Delete – You can delete Helpers who were created by mistake directly from here
  • Merge

In most cases, merging is the best option for genuine duplicates. To do this, click the "Y-arrow icon" and you will be taken to the next step. Select which data you want to keep from the two records and then click "Merge Helpers". The two records are then combined into one, removing the duplicate from the system.

The same system applies to the "Helpers with the same email address" section. As VOLAGIC allows any number of people to be registered with the same email address, duplicates are much less likely here. However, you have the same options as described above.

Important: If you merge a duplicate where different email addresses were used, inform the person concerned. This ensures that they use the correct email address to log in in future.
