Reset Events
This feature allows you to reset your Helpers' Tasks. The Events remain in the system, while completed Tasks are released and therefore no longer appear in the statistics.
Reset Events?
If you have set annual/seasonal Target values for your Helpers, completed Tasks can be reset to 0 at the end of the season. This means everyone starts the next season from the same position again.
What happens?
When you reset one or more Events, all Tasks with assigned Helpers are released again. This means that these Tasks are no longer credited to the Helpers. The Events remain in the system so that you can copy them for the next season without having to set everything up again. Only the Helpers are removed from the Tasks.
This only applies to Past Events! Future Events are not affected. You can therefore already start planning the next season, and Helpers can also start signing up - future Tasks will remain unchanged.
What do I need to consider?
As all Helpers are removed from the selected Events, you will no longer be able to check who reached their Target value or who carried out which activities afterwards. We therefore strongly recommend exporting any reports containing data you still need before resetting the Events. The "Events" report is particularly useful, as it contains all Tasks for all Events within the selected period, including all data for the assigned Helpers.
Reset all Events or selected Events
Under "Past Events", you will find the option "Reset Past Events". This resets ALL Events that have already taken place. However, if you already have Events from the current or next season that should not be reset, the new statistics would be distorted and your Helpers could incorrectly lose hours/Tasks/points.
You can therefore also select the Events you want to reset under "Past Events". As soon as you select one or more Past Events using the checkboxes, the "(X) Reset Events" button appears at the bottom. This allows you to reset only those Events that have already been accounted for.
Before resetting
Resetting Events cannot be undone. You must therefore confirm the reset before it is carried out. Remember to export the reports first in case you need the information again in the future.
